    TO BE ANNOUNCED ...

The Annual Trieste Joyce School, 2008 www.units.it/~nirdange/school

Bloomsday celebrations: New York City 2008

2007: Come celebrate Bloomsday at the Róisín Dubh.

The Róisín Dubh at 22 Warren Street
      in downtown Manhattan
(The official pub of the Finnegans Wake Society)
will host a festive appreciation of
James Joyce’s earlier novel: the glorious ULYSSES on
      Bloomsday: Saturday June 16, 2007
from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm.

We will read from the text (it’s just like karaoke
except the music is the mellifluous Joycean prose of Ulysses).
We’ll sing some songs. We’ll raise a glass or two of
"the foamy ebon ale which the noble twin brothers Bungiveagh
and Bungardilaun brew ever in their divine alevats,
cunning as the sons of deathless Leda."[Guinness]
And if you want to jig, there will be floor space!
